What clients and critics say
We had the Western Suntones perform at the reception for our wedding. We had over a hundred guests. The Suntones had the young and the old up dancing and requesting songs. Everyone agreed it was a great wedding and this was due in no small way to the Western Suntones. We would definitely recommend them for any function.

I’m a lover and promoter of quality Australian country music with many contacts in the industry. Over many years I have voluntarily helped quality bands and artists achieve airplay on the Australian community radio network. The Western Suntones are a band that I feel are up there with the best. I was so impressed with their album ‘Long Way Home’ that I couldn’t help connecting them with my Australian Country Music radio contacts. As I anticipated, their music was very well received and is now being played by many community FM radio stations across Australia. ‘Long Way Home’ is a very well produced album and I wish the Western Suntones all the very best for the years ahead.

On stage The Western Suntones perform an entertaining mix of original and traditional songs which always proves very popular with their audience. As a radio presenter I find the original songs on their albums very “radio friendly”, combining uptempo tracks, thought provoking ballads and story songs. Definitely one of Perth’s finest bands, in fact one of the best bands in Australia.

The Western Suntones have played often at our club since 2015. Our members really enjoy listening and dancing to a good mix of covers and originals. They use humour and wit to engage their audience and get people involved. I would not hesitate to recommend them for any function.
